There’s something so special about the Texas Hill Country- the rolling vineyards, laid back luxe vibe and quiet charm of downtown Fredericksburg that makes it the perfect backdrop for couples who want their wedding day to feel like an intimate gathering of their closest friends and family.
Blaine and Devina’s wedding day was no exception to this. These two intentionally chose a slower pace- no timeline rush, no production- them, their vows, and the people that love them.
The day began in their cozy Airbnb. Devina chose to get ready with her sister, mom and her cute pup Uli. Her sister did her makeup & they both helped her put on her dress. There was no rush as they got ready to make their vows to each other- just the quiet hum of the day and the anticipation for the promise they were about to make.

Blaine and Devina exchanged personal vows right before their ceremony. Surrounded by an overcast sky and the Texas Hill Country, they dedicated their lives to each other.

Blaine’s grandfather officiated the ceremony- he spoke words of love, laughter and faith as their loved ones wiped away tears. The best way to describe their ceremony, was that it was perfectly them. Throughout my time getting to know Blaine and Devina, it was overwhelmingly evident that they didn’t want their wedding to feel like a massive production and they held true to that belief in every part of their wedding day.

Post ceremony we went to an open field on the property to get bride and groom portraits. The light and landscape made for the perfect location. These two were effortlessly themselves as I snapped away on my camera.
